The Importance of Connections: Friendships, Relationships, and More

Dr. Kristy Mall will join us to discuss the importance of connections for gifted children. Dr. Mall is a gifted teacher, advocate, and 25 year veteran teacher in Murfreesboro City Schools.

She is the President of the Murfreesboro Education Association, NAGC Parent Executive Advisory Board Member as well as a member of the NAGC Gifted Advocate Committee. She is the Secretary of the Tennessee Association for the Gifted and the SENG Tennessee State Liaison.

Dr. Mall has presented at world, national, state, and local conferences and trainings. TAG awarded her TN Gifted Teacher of the Year, as well as the TAG Horizon Award. Other notable awards include Tennessee Exemplary Teacher of the Year and Tennessee Outstanding Young Educator.

She is the founder of the Twice-Exceptional Network of Tennessee (in process), an author, an advocate, and the mother of two gifted children, one of which is twice-exceptional (gifted and autistic).
