Gifted 101: Beyond the Matrix
From classroom intervention to special education, this presentation will provide an overview of how the schools in our district meet the needs of high-achieving, advanced, and Gifted learners. Information will also be shared about Tennessee state criteria for Intellectually Gifted eligibility and about the evaluation process.

Our presenter is Sarah Simonovich, the WCS district Gifted Specialist. While Sarah is new to her role this year, she has been working in education for 18 years, as both a secondary English general educator and as a Gifted educator.
