Executive functions include a variety of skills that are critical for achieving long-term goals, such as impulse control, cognitive flexibility, task initiation, working memory, planning, organization, and self-monitoring. When children experience difficulties with these skills, it can have a significant impact on their academic, social, and emotional lives. "Late, Lost, and Unprepared" provides practical strategies for parents seeking to support their children who struggle with executive functioning. In this three-part book series, attendees will engage in an in-depth discussion of the book and identify strategies that can help their children achieve success at home and at school.
