Join us as we welcome Nancy E. Williams, Gifted Education Specialist for the State of TN.

Before coming to the Tennessee Department of Education, Nancy Williams was teaching gifted and talented students for Metro Nashville Public Schools. Her teaching experience in Texas, Utah, and Tennessee has included pre-K through eighth grade. Nancy’s background includes working with varying models of gifted programming in culturally, linguistically, and economically diverse populations. She has helped write, differentiate, and organize gifted curriculum for districts in Texas and Tennessee. Her work in South Texas included a gifted elementary magnet setting and portfolio identification. She holds a Tennessee gifted endorsement, ESL endorsement, administration endorsement, and is Nationally Board Certified as a Middle Childhood Generalist.
