The social and emotional lives of academically gifted students need and will receive unique attention in this session.  We will discuss underlying themes, coping skills, and options for parents to support their children in their current situations.  The session will conclude with time for a moderated questions and answers.

Tim Stambaugh is a local mental health counselor who works with children and adolescents in a clinical practice.  His research interests include feelings of anxiety and depression and the social and emotional needs of gifted students.
